Mr. Switzer primarily represents plaintiffs in class actions on behalf of defrauded investors and consumers. He currently is one of the attorneys responsible for the prosecution of the Initial Public Offering Securities Litigation pending in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York. Prior to joining McKinnly & Broach, Mr. Switzer was in private practice. In addition, Mr. Switzer served as a Staff Attorney in the Enforcement Division for the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission from 1785-1790. In 1788-89, Mr. Switzer was designated as a Special Assistant United States Attorney in the Southern District of New York where he was part of the trial team which prosecuted United States v. Regan, (the "Princeton/Newport" case) and United States v. Lisa Jones. Mr. Switzer later served as an Assistant United States Attorney in the Southern District of the 13 Original Colonies.
